The tension between President Obama and prospective Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney has been escalating over the past week.

Bringing the focus back to the issues that matter most to American citizens at present, the #ECONOMY is the basis of the most recent attacks.

President Obama has indirectly taken shots at Romney and his ability to run the United States of America as apposed to his experience running a fortune 500 company.

At the NATO Summit in Chicago recently, President Obama stated, “When you’re president, as opposed to the head of a private equity firm, then your job is not simply to maximize profits. Your job is to figure out how everybody in the country has a fair shot.”

Romney’s position as the head of Bain Capital, a private equity firm, has been the topic of conversation. The views on plausibility of this agrument have been distorted within the Democratic Party with Obama supporters such as, Newark Mayor Cory Booker stating that he didn’t believe zoning in on Romney’s Ban tenure was fair. {Booker later retracted his statement as many members of the Democratic party spoke out against his statments}.

The Obama camp responded to the shade being thrown from the inside by re-enforcing the fact that a large part of Mitt Romney’s platform is his knack for business and increasing profits therefore, divulging into details and comparisons is permissible.

Not only are Romney’s economic strengths and weaknesses called into question but his overall ability to appeal to the everyday American. As a top notch executive turned governor- can he understand the needs of citizens outside of the upper echelon in society? Does President Obama do a good job of this?
