On Monday President Obama made an official announcement revealing his choices to fill two vacant cabinet positions within the Administration. Former Republican Senator Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense and top anti-terrorism advisor John Brennan for CIA Director. The decision to choose Brennan seems like a no brainer, he's been a part of the administration and has the experience needed to lead our nation's top intelligence office. But the decision to nominate Chuck Hagel has caused a world wind of opinions and mixed feelings. Hagel was elected to the Senate representing the State of Nebraska...

After a hard fought campaign, President Obama remains stationed in the Oval Office for the next four years. Naturally, in a country with a two-party system some people oppose his leadership. The reality is President Obama is our nation’s leader and the majority of citizens believe he was the most qualified candidate for the job. It is imperative that both Republicans and Democrats work together in this new term; it is the only way the country can reach its greatest potential. Anchor and television host, Rachel Maddow delivered some powerful on-air rhetoric the night after the election....

Monday, we witnessed the final installment of the 2012 Presidential debates. Without a doubt, President Obama has won another debate, bringing the record to 2-1. The topic was foreign policy and President Obama made it very obvious how serious he takes foreign relations. Mitt Romney was corrected several times by President Obama. One of the fact-checks related to comments Romney said about letting Detroit become bankrupt. Romney denied making these statements, even though he authored an opinion editorial saying exactly the opposite. So what now? Currently, both candidates are pulling...

President Obama has enlisted the help of everyone's childhood friend Big Bird in a recent ad! After Romney's comments the internet has been in an uproar about getting rid of Big Bird... (just heartless). Some of the featured athletes in the campaign videos  include Alonzo Mourning, Juwan Howard, and Dahntay...

And the winner is… The presidential debate was nothing short of interesting. In one corner you had an aggressive Mitt Romney and in the other corner you had a cool, calm, and collected President Barack Obama. There was a great distinction between the two candidates throughout the night. The hot topics of the evening were jobs, the economy, healthcare, and taxes. The debate opened with President Obama wishing the First lady a Happy Anniversary. The president displayed his trademark calming nature throughout the debate. Both parties went back and forward as expected, their time limits...
