Bi-partisan- the involvement of two political parties(Democrats & Republicans)
Caucus- A meeting of supporters of a political party. During election cycles, they can help select presidential candidates by awarding delegates for the National Convention, i.e. Iowa Caucus.
Congress- The combination of Senators & House of Representatives
Congressional Black Caucus- organization that represents the Black members of United States Congress
Congressional district- the district in which one House of Representative is elected to represent.
FLOTUS- First Lady of The United States
GOP- Grand Old Party also known as The Republican Party
The House- House of Representatives
PAC- Political Action Committee, an organization that is allowed to organize and campaign for a political candidate without a limit on donation amounts
POTUS- President of The United States
Primary election- the election when members of a political party such as Democrat or Republican, select their candidate.
