First Lady Obama has been hitting the campaign trail hard over the past weeks in support of her hubby, President Obama. Blending “traditional” first lady duties, with her ever present swagger,cool demeanor and superb intelligence; Michelle is beaming her way into the hearts of Americans.
On Tuesday, the first lady appeared on hit television shows The View and Good America where she discussed her new book “American Grown”. The book highlights the first lady’s White House Garden that she started, when the President took office 3 years ago, along with recipes and tips for gardening for healthy eating. Health as it pertains to children and families in American has been First Lady Obama’s advocacy interest over the past four years. She has teamed up with local schools and superstars like Beyonce for the “Let’s Move” campaign that targets childhood obesity.
During her interviews Mrs. Obama probably won the hearts of children nationwide professing her distaste of beets, she stated “The White House Garden is a no beets garden.” She and President Obama like many people don’t enjoy beets.
Becoming a published writer is a new accomplishment for the former Partner/Executive turned First Lady of the United States. With just 6 months till November, the amazing woman behind the man with the plan is doing her part to keep the Obama family in DC for another 4 years.
