All eyes are on the Supreme Court this week, for two very important reasons. Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled on the controversial immigration law in Arizona. Arizona Governor Jan Brewer introduced this law as a means to enforce the immigration policies she felt the federal government wasn’t doing.  You may remember Brewer as the woman captured in tons of pictures, putting her finger in the face of the President of the United States. In the ruling, the Supreme Court rejected 3 parts of the law, and upheld the most controversial part. That part being, the right of law enforcement to ask someone...

Determining who will represent the Arizona's 8th Congressional District will be decided today. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords announced earlier this year that she would focus on her rehabilitation instead of returing to Congress, after being shot in the head at a townhall meeting in 2011. The candidates up for her seat are her former aide, Ron Barber, who was himself injured during the townhall attack in 2011 and Tea-party/ GOP candidate Jesse Kelly. Romney took home 29 delegates in Arizona last night. The next big move is Ohio....

Arizona Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords announced Sunday evening that she would be stepping down from her Congressional seat to focus on her health and recovery, as a result of being struck in the head by a bullet during a townhall meeting last year. Giffords was one of 13 people wounded, while 6 others were killed. Though it seemed that Rep. Giffords had experienced a speedy recovery and returned back to the House of Representatives in the latter part of 2011, her wounds haven't completely healed. Her speech was severly affected in the assassination attempt and is one of the of the areas that...
