With student loan debt surpassing credit card debt as the number one cause of debt in this country, Barack Obama has a plan to help college students. Obama’s plan is two sided:
1) More favorable terms on special loan repayment programs based on income called Income-based Repayment of Loans.
2) Encourage graduates with two or more different kinds of federal loans to consolidate them and get a small break on interest rates.
