We first told you about the Voter ID controversy surrounding new laws in Texas, but that isn't the only state being affected by the legislation. These laws will adversely affect as many as 5 million voters nationwide. These issues today are reminiscent of the 2000 election between Al Gore and George W. Bush, where many early and absentee voters in Florida were slighted and their votes were not counted because of new procedures. Houston, Texas is currently the home to plenty of upset citizens and political officials. Yesterday, a Houston police officer, Andrew Blomberg was found “not guilty” for his role in a beating of a black teen involved in a burglary. The video featured below was captured by a surveillance camera, detailing 4 officers that played a role in kicking, punching, and stomping the apprehended teenager.
