“We Will Remember”… A President Who Cares

Early Friday morning our nation became grief stricken with the news of the "Dark Knight Massacare" that took place in the wee hours of the morning at a movie theatre in Aurora, Colorado. Over the weekend, the families, friends, and loved ones of the twelve people who were killed and also the more than 50 victims, who were hurt joined together for a candle light vigil to pay respects to the lives that were lost. The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLBA) of 2001 proposed by everyone's favorite President, George W. Bush, enacted standards based education reform in the United States with the objective to raise public schools scholastic performance by 2014. Though NCLBA received bi-partisan support upon proposal, its effects within school systems nationwide have proven to be problematic.
