It seems that the Republican-led House of Representatives has been ruling with an iron fist when it comes to ethical matters of it's members. Not to say making sure Members of Congress are compliant with Ethics Rules is a bad thing (essentially thats why we have the rules), but it does seem to be a coincidence that as of lately the investigations have been with minority or women members. You may have seen headlines about the Fast & Furious controversy; this time it isn't another movie featuring Vin Diesel or Ludacris. This controversy is surrounding Attorney General Eric Holder. Yesterday a house committee voted to hold Holder in contempt of Congress, in relation to his failure to turnover sensitive documents in connection with a weapons sting titled "Fast and Furious". The sting operations were implemented between 2006-2011 surrounding gun trafficking between bordering states in the South & Southwest sectors of the United States and Mexico.
