The hottest issue in American politics today is the BUDGET; how our money gets spent. The Republicans solution seems to be spending cuts while Democrats suggest that we increase taxes on wealthier populations. Today in a speech at George Washington University, President Obama suggested a middle of the road approach over the course of the next 12 years, where we would incorporate a little of both to begin to reduce our  approximately $14 trillion dollar deficit.  A few key points of his plan included cuts to defense spending, ending the bush-era tax breaks to people who earn over $250,000 per year,...
