The Supreme Court Reigns

All eyes are on the Supreme Court this week, for two very important reasons. Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled on the controversial immigration law in Arizona. Arizona Governor Jan Brewer introduced this law as a means to enforce the immigration policies she felt the federal government wasn’t doing.  You may remember Brewer as the woman captured in tons of pictures, putting her finger in the face of the President of the United States. One of the most anticipated trials is current underway as the Supreme Court determines whether President Obama’s health care reform is unconstitutional or not. The hearing started Monday and has already reached points of high intensity. Those that oppose the legislation believe by allowing Congress to regulate healthcare, an unhealthy precedent will be set.
