Tuesday night things got heated in the Big Apple as round two of the Presidential Debates took place. With just twenty-one days until the election President Obama and Governor Romney went head to head in a town hall style forum, addressing the voters questions that ranged from the economy and foreign affairs to job outsourcing and beyond. Candy Crowley served as moderator and ensured that each man got adequate time to speak and also that the FACTS were on the record. Multiple times Crowley had to bring Gov. Romney back to the question at hand, for example when asked about guns and local violence,...

Its been roughly 5 days since the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act some right-wing conservatives are still bothered by the verdict and the whole idea of the ACA. America's smartest female politician, Sarah Palin {insert sarcasm here} has been amongst the more vocal members of the group calling House Minority Leader Nancy Pelsoi a "dingbat" {can she really say that?} and President Obama a "tool" on Fox News over the weekend. But attention-seeking Palin isn't the only one upset about the 5-4 verdict, Congressional Republicans are clutching on to the hope that they will be able to #Repeal#...

Bush.  Roberts voted alongside the liberal justices, ruling the individual mandate as constitutional. So what does all this mean for you? The Affordable Care Act will do the following: Require people to have health insurance by 2014 Insurance companies can’t deny based on pre-existing conditions Insurance...

GOP Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has been vying for attention by any means as of lately, throwing shots at his direct competitors and also at President Barack Obama. This past weekend Santorum spoke out against a provision in President Obama's Health Care plan that requires clinicians to provide amniocentesis to expectant mothers for free. Amniocentesis is a medical testing procedure that takes fluid from a woman's amniotic sack to test for genetic abnormalities or chromosonal defects in unborn children. The procedure is administered with a needle to the sack and a small sample is removed...

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act a.k.a Obamacare has been the focal point of 2012 GOP Presidential Candidate's vendetta against President Barack Obama. Obamacare was signed into law in March 2010 and has faced much scrutiny ever since then. The major provisions of the law include prohibiting insurance companies from denying patients with pre-existing conditions, allowed students to remain on their parents medical insurance through age 26, revised the requirements for Medicaid/Medicare (government issues insurance) and requires an individual mandate in which requires individuals...
