**UPDATE** Since last week when we first published the Trayvon Martin story thousands of Americans have banned together in support of justice for Trayvon Martin. Many elected officials have also spoke out including President Obama who stated, “If I had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin”. The President has received much scrutiny from the GOP front runners calling his comments racist and etc (but we all know thats far fetched).
It is unfortunate that we report that today Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) was kicked off of the House Floor after speaking out about the controversey with a hood on. Presiding Speaker Greg Harper, a Republican from Mississippi stated that Rush was out of order and asked that he be removed, as members are not allowed to wear hats on the house floor so Rush’s hoodie did not comply.
Did he take it too far or is there empathy by some members of the federal government for life of 17 year old Trayvon Martin?
